Shortly after graduating from Purdue University (1991) with a Bachelor's in Business Management/Marketing, I moved to Milan, Italy. I started my own business in teaching Business English to various companies in Milan and did that for about seven years.

At that point I started working full-time with a publishing house in Milan and eventually became the International Sales manager for that company.

Six weeks after my son was born, we moved back to the Chicago-land area. I now work from home as a freelance translator, tutor, and writer.
