Hi, my name is Teresa Han Fen. I grew up in Taiwan, and I have been living in the United States for more than 20 years. My native language is Mandarin Chinese, and I also have a Bachelor's degree in Chinese. In addition, I received my Master's degree in Counseling at Loyola University. I have been teaching Chinese every Sunday for 6 years at Chicago North Chinese School, a Chinese heritage school for Chinese speaking kids. In the past, I tutored several American kids and adults. Currently, I substitute Mandarin Chinese at different school districts from kindergarten through high school. Teaching is my passion, and I wish to spread my knowledge and cultural to my future students. I am very flexible with hours, and I know both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
