I recently completed my PhD in Spanish literature from the University of Georgia. I have eight years of Spanish teaching experience having taught over thirty courses at a variety of levels (SPAN 100 - 300 levels). These courses have included all grammar levels, business Spanish, and literature courses. During my master’s and doctoral studies, I had the opportunity to travel to Mexico, Guatemala, and, most recently, Madrid, Spain. These opportunities have provided me with vibrant and variety exposure to culture and language varieties.
Former students have described me as friendly, approachable, energetic, dedicated to the subject matter, and always willing to do what it takes to aid the students in understanding the materials. I love teaching more than anything and would love the opportunity to work with students on any level and to inspire them not only to learn a language, but also to appreciate it.
