I am a Senior at Iowa State University. I skipped kindergarten as a child because my knowledge at the time exceeded my grade level, so I am truly blessed to have made it this far in my educational career without falling behind at all. I am hoping to tutor children with their reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills. I won numerous spelling bees as a child in grammar school and I hope that tutoring a child would not only help them to grow in learning, but to also help me grow even more than I already have. I had very high scores on my SAT reading and writing sections and have received nothing but A's in Journalism and English courses I have taken in high school and at Iowa State. Flash cards and games have always been my favorite way of learning because I am very visual, so those would be the methods I use to tutor, visual aids and repetition. I hope you consider me to tutor your child and spread my knowledge on today's youth.
