I specialize in teaching grammar and conversation. I have taught English as a Second Language for 18 years to people from all over the world from Iraq, Japan, Korea, China, Africa, Europe, Mexico and South America. I can teach all ages and currently teach elementary school, however, most of my experience has been teaching adults who have immigrated to the United States. I am very good at individualizing lessons and tailoring an instructional program to students' needs. I use many innovative, interactive activities from drama to engaging games and music to teach English. I am very flexible and willing to teach to your specific learning style whether it be visual, auditory or kinesthetic. I also am willing to assist you with any life skill area you need help with from preparing for job interviews to interacting with English speaking neighbors, friends or clients to getting extra help with schoolwork.
