I have seven years experience teaching 8th grade math in Indiana: algebra, pre-algebra, and advanced algebra classes. My undergraduate degree was in elementary education with a middle school math endorsement. I also have a Master's degree in school administration.
During the 2010-2011 school year I tutored a 7th grade female in all subjects, three male 8th graders in algebra, one female honors algebra student, a struggling 6th grade female, CRCT remediation for both male and female 8th graders, and a college level female in algebra I. I also did an 8th grade math maternity leave position for 10 weeks at JJ Daniell Middle School in Cobb County.
Over the past two years I got married and had a baby, so I'm just now getting back into tutoring. I currently teach full time so I am looking to get some clients set up for this coming summer. I am patient, thorough, experienced, and passionate about the necessity to reach children as soon as they start to struggle. We can not afford to have any more kids give up on math, or determine they're "not good at it." Everyone can be a successful math student, and I want to help!
