Hi! Through my tutoring experiences, I have found that students have different needs and expectations from a tutoring session. My tutoring style and methods adapt to fit those needs and expectations. That is, I don't have a rigid routine or set plan for a session. Some students just want to work specific problems, others also want to have physics and astronomy concepts presented to them. Not only do I provide students with the typical questions they may encounter on a test but I also try to provide students with a study strategy so that they will be able to accomplish more on their own.
I have spent the last 4 years in the graduate physics program at Auburn University pursuing a PhD. Currently, I am not enrolled.
I have a B.S. in physics and a B.S. in astronomy from Valdosta State University. I graduated in 2008.
I also have an A.A. in music from Macon State College.
I have been a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Auburn University for the last four years. My duties included teaching laboratory and study sessions for the undergraduate classes: physics I, physics II and astronomy.
While at Auburn, I was also a private tutor for four years.
