I have been trained by the faculty of Albany State University. I graduated on December 10, 2011. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology. I completed my student teaching in a first grade classroom. During my student teaching experience I was given the opportunity to tutor two fifth graders after school. I have experience in the third grade classroom as well. I have done most of my required observations in the second and third grades. As I tutor I find out where the student is through conversation. With my psychology background I have learned to deeply assess students through simple conversations. I will give the student a chance to tell me what they are struggling in and then I will assess them through testing also. With all this data being collected I can easily make improvements in the students grades and performance in school. The only thing I need is an opportunity and a struggling student.
