I am a retired teacher with 34 years of experience. I have taught grades k, 1, 4 and 5 at the elementary level. I have also taught remedial English at a technical college as well as GED prep courses at the remedial and ABE (Adult Basic Education) levels. In the past, I have done private tutoring as well as after school tutoring in preparation for the state CRCT which is given each year. I enjoy helping students learn at their own pace while developing the skills and confidence necessary to be successful. I look forward to assisting students in acquiring good study habits and techniques to make their learning more meaningful and enjoyable. I think learning should be fun!
