Hey Everybody! I am Aris and I am originally from Washington D.C. I moved to Atlanta a couple of years back to be with my wife who is teaching at Spelman. I currently teach mathematics at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville.

I have been teaching classes for about 15 years and tutoring for about 18 years. Yes, I started pretty young. So I still remember how it is to be a student and struggle in math classes.

I can tutor pretty much any math subject and basically have tutored every math subject.

Calculus

One of the most difficult classes, calculus can be a killer. I probably have taught and tutored this subject more than any other, having taught it for the last 15 years without a break and having graded the AP calculus test a few years back.

Poker

I have won a number of poker tournaments in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have a Ph.D in mathematics, and thus am very familiar with the odds and distribution of hand holdings. I am headed to the World Series of poker this summer.

Differential Equations

My Ph.D is in the area of Partial Differential Equations, I can send you the thesis if you like and I have taught Differential Equations for 5 years at Emory and Henry College from the Boyce and Diprima book. I can send a syllabus upon request.

Linear Algebra

My Ph.D thesis used linear algebra to approximate the solutions to a partial differential equation. I have also taught the class a number of times.

Probability

I have taught a probability course for 2 years at Emory and Henry College. I can even provide a syllabus if you need one. We covered topics such as the probability axioms, Bayes' Rule, probability distributions (discrete and Continuous) and the central Limit Theorem.
