Learning to read and write is basic. Reading and writing well is essential. Loving to read and writing well are stepping stones to achieving success in whatever career path one travels.
I have an accumulated 30+ years of writing experience, including PBS program descriptions for "TV Guide," program conceptualization and development, grant writing, promotional materials, fund raising letters; and a 'this week in local history' column for my hometown newspaper. I also served the newspaper as Concept Creator, Editor and Advisor for "The Kid's Page," which was written entirely by elementary and middle-school students.
Upon retirement in 2008, I moved to Stone Mountain, GA, where I would love to provide you (or your child) with excellent tutoring in reading comprehension and writing skills. I believe in meeting a child at his or her current level of reading and writing abilities and growing them from there, one step at a time.
