After working in corporate America for many years I've decided to pursue my passion, and do what I love most - teach! Should you choose me as your tutor you can expect to Learn and have fun, because learning IS fun! Before tutoring on a professional basis I've helped countless friends, family members and fellow students master subjects like business
and yes, French
My specialty is French tutoring. I hold a Bachelor's degree in French, as well as a Master of International Business, with a dual concentration in finance
. I graduated at the top of my class in my master's program with a 4.0 GPA in my major. I am a Hope Scholar, Regent's Opportunity Scholar, and a Nita Robinson Scholar. The latter of which afforded me the opportunity to study in Europe and do an internship in North Africa in the French & Arabic
-speaking country of Tunisia before completing my graduate studies. Living abroad changed my life, and raised my level of fluency above anything I could have achieved by reading
books or taking classes.
For me tutoring is a welcome change from the rigors of business. I will expect hard work from you and strive to meet, if not exceed, your expectations. That way we both win!
In an effort to be completely fair to all my clients I never bill for a lesson if the student or parent is not completely satisfied with my tutoring service(s).
I do require at least a 4-hour notice if a session needs to be cancelled. I am happy to travel to an agreed upon location. However, if it is outside my normal travel radius I may be forced to charge a bit higher rate. I would love to hear from you and look forward to helping you master French. Bon courage!
