Learn from a teacher who has taught students of all ages and levels. I started teaching at a private language school in Korea where I taught children age 6 through 17. Later I took a job at a public elementary school where I taught 1st through 6th grade. I then began teaching at a university where levels ranged from beginner to advanced. At the university I taught a class of professors, mostly for conversation and pronunciation. After 3 years in Korea, I decided to move to Vietnam and teach adults. My students were all employed by the government and ages ranged from 23-60. It was a short project in the south of Vietnam, so when it ended I moved to Hanoi to teach 11th grade English at a high school. I also taught as a volunteer in Ecuador, Venezuela, Thailand and Laos. I am TOEFL certified and can provide resume and references upon request.
In my lessons, I incorporate many fun activities and games (even for adults!). People learn in different ways. I am also happy to research your topics of interest and incorporate them into my lessons. I have experience teaching all levels from very basic to advanced test preparation.
