Carlton understands how to teach complex concepts and is very patient when teaching them. My daughter has done quite well in math over the years...until Geometry!!! She understands most of the concepts, but struggles when it comes to proofs. Carlton came in, established a rapport, and assessed where she needed help. Not only is he teaching her how to complete the work, when I overheard him tell her, "it's OK to make mistakes", I almost cried!!! He even got her to smile a couple of times throughout the session. Clearly, Carlton understands the anxiety that my daughter is feeling about the subject-matter and is intuitive enough to recognize her need for validation. I am ecstatic about that! Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
