I am a certified special education teacher (K-12). I have experience teaching students with ADD/ADHD as well as the patience to understand the challenges that go along with teaching students with this specific condition.

Aspergers

I am a certified special education teacher (K-12). I have experience teaching students with ADD/ADHD as well as the patience to understand the challenges that go along with teaching students with this specific condition. Also, my younger brother has been diagnosed with Aspergers and I feel this gives me a unique perspective into the lives of Aspies.

Baseball

I played baseball from age 4-23. I was a varsity baseball player in high school and a scholarship player at Reinhardt University. I currently coach at baseball at the high school I am also a teacher at.

Dyslexia

I am a certified special education teacher (K-12). I have experience teaching students with Dyslexia as well as the patience to understand the challenges that go along with teaching students with this specific condition. I also have overseen a 5th grader with Dyslexia on Sunday mornings for Sunday school for the past 2 years.

Softball

Special Needs

I am high school special needs teacher with a focus in reading, writing, and literature appreciation. I manage a caseload of 12 special needs students. I also teach about 64 special needs students everyday in literature class.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
