I am a native Spanish speaker, raised in Latin America and Europe, now living and working in Atlanta.

I have lived most of my life between England and Holland. I am therefore of course perfectly proficient in Dutch.

I studied Humanities and Psychology. My interest in languages led me to become a Linguist. I have worked in several industries in Europe, Latin America and now here in the USA.

In Spanish, I have tutored university students both in England and The Netherlands. I was almost recruited by the language program at Leeds University in West Yorkshire, England a couple of years ago. I followed a year capacitation course with them to be optimally prepared to dictate classes at university level; unfortunately, for family reasons I had to travel. I came shortly after that to the USA and have tutored college students as well as working as an interpreter/translator in the legal system.

Sewing

I have been in the possession of a sewing machine all my life. I love sewing! My grandmother had a boutique, and manufactured all the garments at home. I learned all the tricks/techniques with her. I have also done some couture courses in The Netherlands when young. I still sometimes design and make my own clothes at home.

Painting

I studied painting at the Royal Academy of Art in Arnhem, The Netherlands. I've had painting lessons since childhood. I paint mainly abstracts now in oil an acrylic.
