Hello! My name is Kayla, and I will be moving to Roswell in May. I am currently attending college and will graduate in May. My major is Elementary Education and I am looking for a teaching job in and around Atlanta. I am also looking for a tutoring job because I think it is a great way to give kids the extra help they need. I have found that in the school day, there is not enough time to sit down with every child that needs extra help and work with them individually. I would love to help those students who need a little extra help. I have tutored as part of the SHARE (students helping adolescents read excellence) program at Bloomsburg and have been very successful in doing that. When I tutor, I like to make it fun. Students are in school for a long time during the day and after school should be educational, yet fun. I incorporate educational games such as memory, or review jeopardy. In math, I introduce new techniques if the student is not understanding something. My tutoring technique depends on each individual child's needs. I hope to become part of your child's educational experience soon!
