I have experience teaching science to students of all ages (middle school through college level). I majored in biology but have experience teaching that as well as physical science. I also have math and language arts tutoring experience with students from ages 5 and up.

I am an advanced piano player and would be willing to work with you in your home or my own depending on preference.

Algebra 2

I have a great understanding of algebra and pre-algebra and I was a student who math did not come easy for. I can relate to students who struggle with overall comprehension of math because I struggled too. When I got into high school, I had an amazing teacher that showed me that not only was I capable of doing the math, but that I also enjoyed it.

Biology

I majored in biology in undergrad at Tennessee Tech University with a 3.4 GPA in the subject matter, and a 3.2 GPA overall. I am able to help in the broader understanding of this subject.

Elementary Math

Math foundations and understanding are so important. I am able to help your child build stronger foundations and gain more confidence in the overall subject.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have great experience working with kids of all ages, including elementary. I am familiar and comfortable tutoring students in any elementary subject.

Piano

I have taken piano for the past eleven years. I play for enjoyment and I also have played for parties, receptions, and even weddings. I took piano throughout college and have even continued after. I absolutely love the piano and would love to share the joy that it has brought to my life with others.

Study Skills

I am an extremely organized individual with the necessary tools to demonstrate and work one on one with someone who may need some guidance with studying. This could included demonstrating better note taking or even how to create flashcards.
