My name is Marcia J. C. I have more than 25 years' experience in the journalism, public relations and communications fields, including three years as a full-time assistant professor of journalism. In my profession I have to perform daily tasks that involve writing, editing, speaking and research. Currently, I am a writer at Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Public Policy.

My educational background includes earning a B.A. degree in Mass Communications from Clark College (now Clark Atlanta University) and an M.S. degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois.

Writing is my forte. I have a BA in Mass Communications and a MS in Journalism. I have worked for 30 years in the communications field as a public relations manager and publications editor and writer. Additionally, I have taught communications and public relations writing courses at the college level.

Proofreading

I have spent more than 30 years as a communications manager, professional and consultant, primarily for colleges and universities. In many of my positions, I have served as editor and writer for institutional newsletters and magazines. I have also had major responsibilities as the chief writer and editor for executive communications, including speeches, op-eds and memos.
