I would like the opportunity to help kids with their math and science. I have been a construction supervisor and an engineer and I taught many people how to do many different jobs in the field. After I went to college and university to learn drafting and mechanical engineering, I worked in a manufacturing facility that produced HVAC equipment for 19 years. I was responsible for providing technical support to the production personel. I learned that many people have a different way of understanding the same thing. Sometimes I explain a part or drawing or procedure to a plant employee and he just cannot see what I am trying to convey to him. So I step back and think of a different way of explaining it until, they can understand what I am saying. I have been a teacher in the field for all of my life and I do not get tired of it. I like to help people and it makes me feel good when they get hold of the concept that I am trying to explain to them. I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. I do know math and science. When I brush up on the math a little more I will be glad to help with differential equations and calculus 2 and some of the other math.
