Welcome I hope to reach students who are in need of a hands on teacher who has many years of experience. I am very patient, a great listener and I always put the students needs first.
I have been a teacher for over 9 years and have been a tutor for five years. I have an undergraduate degree in public health and in education and a Master's degree in Special Education.
I am a dedicated teacher who has studied and utilized strategies to help students who are struggling. I believe that all students can succeed when provided with the correct tools. Each student is an individual and there are many learning styles. Students need to learn how to think for themselves and discover which strategies and tools will enable them to be successful in the classroom. In my current position, I support teachers (k-12) and help them provide quality learning environments in their classrooms. I love to work 1:1 and in small groups. I have a lot of experience working with students with special needs.
