I am a junior at the University of West Georgia, and I am majoring in Chemistry with a concentration in secondary education. I am a part of the peer-led team learning workshop program in the chemistry department at the university. I am paid to lead a two hour class weekly in which I assist students in hands-on learning as well as being responsible for grading the students on participation, preparation, and attitude. I genuinely enjoy helping students grasp difficult concepts in a way that makes sense to that individual student. I understand that every person is different and requires different techniques in order to learn, and I think it's important to work within those techniques.
