A wide variety of methods and strategies based on data, goals, learning style, and Common Core Curriculum Performance Standards are used to reach out to students. Intelligence, integrity, focus, and a personal approach is brought into the education process. The educational, emotional, and physical needs of my students are priorities as I seek to "empower engaged learners for a lifetime of achievement and success."
Academic classroom achievements include meeting the annual goal and absolute bar in Reading, English Language Arts, and Math. The 2013 state test result was 100% meeting or exceeding in reading.
I hold an M.Ed from the University of West Georgia. My clear and renewable T5 certification is in the areas of early childhood, reading endorsement, middle grades and gifted.
