I am a human factors specialist at the Arbella Human Performance Laboratory at The University of Massachusetts. I taught undergraduate and graduate engineering courses, conducted research, analyzed data and served as a principal investigator on various research projects.
My research efforts focus on the safety and training of young adults, attention and information processing, and cognitive intervention. My research experience includes informational sign design for roads with space limitations, drivers’ route choice analysis, laboratory testing of driver performance under various stress-factors, and the design and evaluation of math training programs.
I earned my MS in Mechanical Engineering from State Polytechnic University of Armenia and am perusing my PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts. I am a member of the Human Factors research community and the Society of Women Engineers.
