I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Although I love all ages, elementary students are my passion. I enjoy being around them and helping them to succeed. I have taught, tutored, and coached elementary students for the past 7 years. I will do my best to help each student not only master the skills in which he or she is struggling but also gain confidence in the subject. Math, in particular, is my favorite subject. I taught middle school math and enjoyed every minute of it.
During my tenure as a teacher at a small Christian school, I also had the privilege of working with several foreign exchange and ESL students at our school. I love learning about other cultures and helping others to master the English language and understand the culture. I am also ESOL endorsed.
Next to teaching, I enjoy coaching volleyball. I played volleyball at the college level and have coached for the past 5 years.
What I love most of all is God and His Word. I am an avid student of His Word and would love to share with you all that He means to me and has taught me.
