Accounting is not easy for most students - even accounting majors struggle with it. When I was in college, I had the opportunity to work in the accounting lab as a tutor and I knew then that I loved to teach. Not only did I enjoy it but the other students seemed to be pleased as well, as I received many referrals. I believe that in order for accounting to make sense, it very often needs to be made personal. That is my specialty - making it personal.
I graduated from Kennesaw State University as an Accounting major in May of 2012 with a 3.88 GPA. Since, and prior to graduation, I have worked for a small public accounting firm. I am a licensed CPA working for a small utility retailer. My ultimate hope is to find a way to use my degree and knowledge to help others.
While my previous experience with tutoring has been limited to college students, I would gladly work with anyone struggling with accounting. I am knowledgable in and able to help with basic to intermediate financial accounting, cost (or managerial) accounting, accounting information systems and international accounting.
I would be honored to be able to help by passing on what I've learned to the next class of scholars. I hope to work with you soon.
