My goal as a tutor is to assist students academically in subjects where they are seeking improvement. As a Special Education Teacher, I am experienced in teaching students with Learning Disabilities, ADD/ADHD and Organizational (study skills) difficulties. I always try to motivate my students to increase and encourage their confidence in the learning process. I assist students with developing study skills specific to their needs to assist their success in all subject areas.

I have taught various subjects which include English, Math, Reading, Social Studies, Science and Study Skills. Besides teaching students what to learn, I also teach them how to learn, providing students with study skills and good study habits, as well as how to break complex issues down so as not to be overwhelmed

Elementary Math

Maximize your student's mathematics potential. I teach Numbers and Operations, Pre-Algebra Concepts, Geometry, and Measurement.

I will also provide strategies to enhance study skills, test-taking and organizational approaches to learning math.

I am a certified Special Education Teacher. I am experienced in specialized instruction, differentiated instruction and reading across the curriculum. I currently work with students with various exceptionalities which include LD, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia.
