I am a professional teacher in the area of Bible Studies, Life Skills and Basic Math. I have taught Special Education students for the past five years in the Washington, DC area. I currently possess a BA in Psychology, a Master in Divinity and I am pursuing a Master's in Education from Strayer University.
I have taught for three years in the Prince George county Maryland public school system. I have also worked as a one on one aide in a public charter school in the Washington, DC area for two years teaching Reading, Grammar and English. I have recently relocated back to Atlanta from the metropolitan DC area, in September of 2011.
I enjoy teaching grammar, literature and basic math. I am thorough, patient, and prepared to adapt any instructions according to the needs of the student/s I am instructing. I use a variety of teaching methods that are differentiated according to the individual needs of the student/s. I am willing to travel up to 15 miles from my home and I can meet two evenings a week with the right student if necessary. I look forward to instructing all scholars to succeed in the above mentioned subject areas of, Religion, Basic Math and Grammar.
