Hi, my name is Josh and I would love to help you excel in subject areas which were previously difficult for you.
I am a sophomore Biology major on the Pre-Pharmacy track at Mercer University's Macon campus. I have excellent time management skills due to my many commitments in college, and those skills help benefit you. I am able to effectively tutor students in the subjects in which they need the most assistance (these generally include Algebra- basic and advanced, Chemistry- basic and advanced,Biology, and Microsoft Office- Word and Excel) and you can guarantee that your time will not be wasted because my time would be wasted as well. I am able to make learning fun and effective for students. I have tutored for a year when in high school and have found many methods that work for different types of learners.
During my time at Mercer I have taken many science courses and I have gotten certified in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint prior to coming to college. During my time here I have had to write many papers using Word, give presentations in Biology using PowerPoint and in those presentations I have had to generate graphs that were created using Excel. Also, I have a solid base in Chemistry due to the strict regimen of classes that I have to take and the same is true for Biology as I am usually taking one of each every semester. My knowledge in these areas are current and my learning is ongoing and I would be able to help you or your child learn these subject areas by applying techniques that help me and that I have found help others learn.
