I graduated from Gordon College with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. I then attended Mercer University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. After working a few years, I returned to college to get become a teacher in biology. I have a taken education courses and passed the GACE basic and biology exams. Since I have a bachelor's degree, joined the TAPP program to become a teacher. Unfortunately, I entered the program when the counties began hiring freezes. I secured a job in agricultural research and once again returned to college. I am currently enrolled at Macon State College and will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I have given tutoring before and have taught classes and provided help as an assistant. I relate subject matter to real life examples so that the material can be better understood. I will also use other materials as needed to help a student grasp concepts. My style is a little laid back, but focused. I am patient and will repeat whatever is needed until the student understands the content. Practice does make perfect. I also help students identify their best study techinques and help them to develop better study habits to maximize their learning time. I have a good grasp of many different subjects, given all of my time in school, but I am best at science, business, and English.
