Hi!

My name is Madryn. I am a certified teacher and I love to tutor! My favorite subject to tutor is Math or Algebra. I am also a tutor of Accounting courses, with a degree in accounting and an MBA.

I live in the Lithia Springs area. I have taught special needs children and all grade levels and college students.

I have taught special education for six years, in grades K-12. My specialty is Math. However, I am experienced with teaching language arts and reading.

Accounting

I majored in Accounting in college and I continued my studies in the area of Finance. Afterwards, I passed the CPA exam and owned an Accounting firm for several years. I would love the opportunity to help you understand Accounting.

Elementary Math

I have always loved math. I taught myself Algebra because I was afraid of not knowing the concepts when I went to high school. I look forward to teaching your student PreK-12th grade. I am really good with the special education students, as well.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am currently certified by the State of Georgia to teach elementary grades in all subjects including special needs. I have extensive training due to over seven years in the field of education and with 3 years of certified teaching experience. In addition, I have tutored home bound children and this summer I tutored rising 6th graders who all passed the CRCT exam.

I have earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration and I am currently teaching in the local public school system...

Piano

I have experience as a professional musician. My specialty is clarinet but I also know elementary piano. I know scales, chords, how to instruct beginning to intermediate piano players. I know both treble clef and bass cleft notes and I have experience with teaching piano for 4 years.

Special Needs

I have taught special needs students for the past three years and I am currently a "Highly Qualified" special needs teacher in the local public school system.

I look forward to the unique challenges that come with teaching special needs children.

Clarinet

I have performed professionally and I have played clarinet for over 43 years. I have performed in various churches for talent programs and weddings and other party and other social events as soloist. I have also performed at school assembly programs and I most recently performed at home holiday parties.

I have had several students in the past in various grade levels. I can teach from beginning to advanced levels.

Business

I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a M.B.A. in Finance. I have also passed the CPA exam. My experience includes co-ownership of an accounting business and three daycare centers for six years and supervised the Employee Benefits Dept. for a large metropolitan school system for over eleven years.

GMAT

I am an experienced entrepreneur having earned an M.B.A. degree in Business Administration in the area of Finance and I have an undergraduate degree in Accounting.

I look forward to assisting students who are attempting to pass the GMAT because I am very familiar with the required content and subject matter it covers.

ADD/ADHD

I am a certified Special Education teacher qualified to teach both adaptive and general curriculum students which includes students with ADD/ADHD diagnosis. I have taught six years in the public school systems of Haralson County and Newton County in GA. I received my certification in Special Education from University of Georgia.
