My name is Billie H. I am a newly graduated student from Georgia State University, I reside in Atlanta GA and have lived here majority of my life. However, I have a certain fascination with travelling and experiencing new things. I have been exposed to some of the worlds best teachings and different cultures; and because of that I'd like to believe I know plenty enough about patience and understanding. I aspire to instill in someone else the best of my knowledge and help aid their educational needs to the best of my abilities. I aim to help the student reach their personal best and continue to help them reach their utmost potential. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine, I've gotten great feedback from my past attempts at it; It continues to be a great passion of mine mostly because I personally have been exposed to some of the best and most strategic tutoring sessions that there is to offer.
Through the help of some of these tutoring sessions, I have learned the importance of learning, teaching and succeeding in the educational field on impact. I have experiences in tutoring students ranging from children to college school mates. Currently I am the tutor a 10th grader, I help him understand his work and keep everything he learns refreshed in his memory at all times. As a tutor, it is important to be aware of the needs of my students, I understand that different persons need tutoring for different reasons; I understand that Some people need tutoring not because they lack the ability to grasp the things they learn, but because they can't keep it all stored in their memory past a few days of learning them. Others however need tutoring simply because they find it difficult to get into the material at all. This is where I believe my strategic tutoring methods could be of great help, not only can I teach the subject, I can help the student learn ways in which they can keep the materials stored and not have much struggle going into their finals or other endeavors.
