My experience with students for the past 10 years as well as with my own daughter has empowered me to be patient, understanding, yet consistent with my approach. I am warm, approachable, and flexible, and I always try to make learning fun.
Furthermore, I have many years of experience. I have been a substitute teacher for Gwinnett for the past five years, teaching various subjects
(mathematics, science, chemistry, biology and French). I am a native French speaker with a teaching certification in French. I also hold a teaching certification in biology.
I earned my bachelor degree in biochemistry from the University of Abidjan, Republic of Cote D'Ivoire and taught science and mathematics for middle school for five years before attending Mississippi State University, where I earned a master's degree in food science & technology. I then moved to Atlanta, where I have been living for over 20 years.
Teaching has always been a passion for me. I love my job and truly enjoy assisting struggling students to reach their potential. I do my best to raise students’ self-esteem and to make them understand hard work can lead to a better future.
