I have a Master's degree in Chemistry and Bachelor degree in Biology. I am currently working at a pharmaceutical company as a chemist.
Currently I am a Gokuldham Vidhayala Teacher where I teach Gujarati language to children ages 4-14 in Indian Temple.
My past experiences include following: Instructor of Chemistry: (Georgia State University) where I taught general and spectroscopy labs; a chemistry teacher: (South West Atlanta Academy School) where I taught junior/senior students; and a Saturday School Teacher: Georgia State University)where I taught physical sciences to honor gifted children from all around Georgia. (Grade level: 5-10).
As a graduate student I was GLA/GRA Teaching Assistance for inorganic and organic chemistry at Georgia State University and a Lab Technician for Nutrition Department at Georgia State University
My other experiences include Project Development and Management - involves hypothesis development followed by a progression of activities, i.e., protocols, procedures, oversight and documentation, leading to completion, High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectroscopy, Infrared Spectroscopy, Carbon-13, Inoculation, Monitor Filtration System, Centrifugation, autoclaving, stomaching, extractions, thin layer chromatography, melting point determination, U. V. spectrometry, rotary evaporation, fractional and simple distillation, titration, vortex, determination of yields, proper weighing and measuring techniques, making buffers, dilutions, and using aseptic techniques.
For computer knowledge I have experience with Windows, Windows 95, Excel, Macintosh, Macro, Millennium, Empower, Empower 2, LIMS, Chem-Station, Slim, Slim-Stat, Sigma Plot, Microsoft Project Management, Maximo, Crystal Reports, Power Point, Next Docs, and Elm.
