I am a native Spanish speaker, from La Paz, Bolivia. I hold a bachelor degree in Arts with a major in Communication. In 2010, I took and aproved the Spanish test GACE I and II to work in Gwinnett County Public Schools. In my free time I founded a Spanish Club where people enjoy one or two hours speaking in Spanish.
I have been teaching since 2003. I teach to different groups of people, from two years old, teenagers, young professionals and adults; sometimes I have to start my curriculum in beginner, intermediate, advance, conversational or business level depending of my students; but I always create a specific curriculum for everyone. I am always looking for new techniques to use especially with children, most of the time I play, sing songs and do some fun activities.
I want to share my passion of teaching with people, share with them information and experience about other cultures. In the other hand, I am sure that learn another language help develop specific new brain activities, for example the statistics said that people that speak more than one language get higher scores in tests, have better reading skills, and develop great self confidence.
Why some people learn faster than other ones? I just can say that practice makes perfection. And if you give me the opportunity to share my language with you, soon, very soon you will be bilingual, exactly as I am.
