I have been an Army doctor and later on practiced as a Family practitioner and Pediatrician. I have been a National Tennis and Badminton Player. I am a tennis pro/coach. I have been teaching medical college students, nurses and all grade students in India, free of charge. In US I have been teaching all grades1-8, Science, Math, English and Social studies. I am very good in teaching Science, Biology, Anatomy, Physiology and Elementary Math. And I consider myself an expert in teaching the students how to remember the lessons. I do give Tennis lessons also.

I have been a very hard working individual. I always believe that hard work never goes unrewarded and that studies and sports/exercise should go together. Regular practice is the key to success.

Anatomy

In medical college, my Majors were Anatomy and Physiology. Anatomy was my favorite subject. It is very easy if you know how to learn this subject. I used to teach medical college students and the nurses in Army, both, Anatomy and Physiology.

Elementary Math

I am very good in math and have taught elementary students. And I believe that math is the easiest subject, if you want to learn.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have been teaching grades 1-6 for the last 5 years and I am a certified teacher for elementary education. I have been teaching all the subjects to k-6 grade students.

It's important to make the lesson interesting for elementary students, because they at this stage have not developed internal motivation (most of them). I make sure to add stories, personal experiences, pictures, games and experiments to increase their attention span.

Zoology

I had Biology as my Major in high school and Pre-medical. Biology had both Botany and Zoology. My uncle was head of the department in Zoology and he taught me this subject. I became so good in the subject that I could easily teach my classmates.

Zoology later on helped me in Anatomy, in Medical college. I have been teaching Zoology and Botany to 10th and 11th Graders in India.

Tennis

I have been playing Tennis for the last 45 Years. I am a tennis pro and a tennis coach since 1987. I have passed USPTA, ITF and AITA professional exams. My students were India #1 and US, inter university, #2-4 and also had world ranking. I was a Ranked player in India. I worked with Mr. Vic Braden at Coto De Caza.

Yoga

I learned yoga when I was in the Army, 1973, from a soldier who was an expert in Yoga. I practiced yoga for 3-4 hours everyday for 2 months and used to do almost all yoga postures perfectly well. I still do yoga everyday. I used to teach certain yoga exercises to treat and prevent certain problems in my patients. It always worked well. And I have read a lot about yoga, too!

Hindi

Hindi was my mother tongue. I can speak, read, write and teach Hindi and Punjabi very well. I have studied Hindi up to Pre medical (Grade 12).

Hindi is the best language with perfect phonics. It's easy to learn Hindi, if one learns the Alphabets and the sounds.

My father, a Teacher and a Principle for more than 30 years, was a scholar in Sanskrit, English, Urdu (Hebrew) and Hindi. He taught me all the languages. I got very good grades in all.

Nutrition

I have been prescribing Medicines and different diets to my patients for 33 years during my medical practice.

Nutrition means the diet which is best suited for the particular person, with proper nutrition, vitamins, minerals, calories(Protein, fats, carbohydrates) and other specific contents in the food. To accomplish that, one should have the knowledge of all foods.

Fitness

I have been a doctor and body builder, an Army officer, a Tennis pro and a Tennis coach (still playing and coaching) so I have to be fit.

I have a sound knowledge of nutritional and caloric value of all foods and different types and ways of exercising I can definitely help anyone to stay fit or improve fitness and prevent certain problems by taking certain exercises.
