Adobe Flash

I worked as a Flash Developer for 5 years, designing e-learning content related to healthcare. I've used Flash including old versions of ActionScript for over 12 years, and am fluent in the Flash UI as well as ActionScript 3.0. I have designed several small mini-games in Flash via ActionScript 3.0 and, although very basic, demonstrate my ActionScripting skills.

Composition (Music)

My knowledge and experience creating musical compositions dates back to 2001. I am fluent in both music theory and composition, as well as music creation on various DAWs, including Fruity Loops and Cubase (Digital Audio Workstation, which is basically a piece of software you can use to compose music on your computer).

Computer Programming

My Associate's Degree in Computer Information Technology has landed me a few jobs in the IT industry for over 9 years, doing everything programming from ActionScript in Adobe Flash to HTML, JavaScript and CSS scripting. I have basic knowledge of C++ and Java, as well as Visual Basic and PHP. My methods of learning as well as teaching are unique and clear, concise and mind expanding.

Dreamweaver

I've used Dreamweaver for over 10 years, and excel at other WYSIWYG editors (WYSIWYG = What You See is What You Get, which means that the web site editor you use can be used to create a website without any code, or minimal code use).

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
