I recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master of Arts in Teaching. While attending UGA, I tutored a rising 3rd grade student in reading. Before tutoring, he was reading on a lower first grade level and within a month he was reading on a lower second grade level. I also tutored two ten year old students, separately, in math this past summer.
I like to think that I am fun and I am definitely easy to get along with, but I expect a lot from the children that I work with. As long as you are doing your best work and I know that, I cannot ask for anything more. My third student told his mother that I was, "mean and I like her". I think I can take that as a compliment.
