I enjoy working with students of all ages and ability levels. My instructional experience includes teaching students from preschool-12th grade level in both special and general education settings. I have a degree in Special Education from Arizona State University and current GA certification to teach Preschool-12th grade. I have successfully taught all core content subjects, adaptive physical education, social/life skills, and character education. I am also skilled at identifying the social and emotional needs of students, facilitating skill building programs for deficiencies, creating Individual Education Plans, creating/implementing effective behavior management plans, and maintaining accurate daily records and extensive special education records related to all students on my caseload. While seeking my education degree, I maintained employment in early childhood settings providing early intervention in the areas of literacy, behavior support and social skill development and as a private tutor providing skill enrichment and remediation services. Post graduation, I have maintained continuous employment in the public education system and as a private tutor.
