I have 17 years of tutoring experience that includes all ages from elementary to high school. My specialty areas are Pre Algebra, Algebra I, II and III, Geometry. My favorite students are those who truly dislike math or have a fear of it. My motto is, "Once I can change your mindset about math, then the rest is easy!" Many students feel as though they can not be successful when doing math, so they feel defeated before they even attempt to do the problems. For example, I give students an opportunity to learn many different approaches to working a particular problem. The student then chooses which approach is easiest for them.
