I have known for many years that I love to teach. However, what I find--and possibly what you have found, too--is that all too often there are barriers to individual success in the school system. Resources are stretched across too many students, teachers are overworked and fighting to maintain student interest while preparing classes for near-constant standardized tests, and you or your child gets lost in the fray. That's where tutors like me come in. I can provide the personalized instruction that may be missing from the average school day. And for home-schooled students, I can explain concepts in a way that their textbooks and study materials may not. I am passionate about English Language and Literature as well as U.S., European, and World History. I am also an accomplished student of mathematics at the Precalculus level and lower and proficient in both written and spoken French. Worried about my credentials? Don't be. I have been tutoring for the past five years through both my high school and my university. I graduated as the valedictorian of Bradwell Institute in 2010, scored 780, 680, and 780 on Writing, Math, and Critical Reading respectively on the SAT, as well as a composite score of 33 on the ACT, and AP Scores of 5 on the AP Literature, European History, U.S. History, and Government Exams. I also completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English at Georgia College & State University in May with a 3.5 GPA. My schedule is flexible, so I will work with you to set up a time and location that suits your needs. I am willing to travel within a 40-mile radius to help my students. Whether you need just a couple of polisher sessions or more extended assistance, I am the tutor for you!
