I am a graduate of Clayton State University as of the Spring Semester of 2013 with a GPA of 3.72, earning Magna cum Laude status. All of my previous employers have been heavily reliant on customer service and gratification. I am currently the department trainer at my workplace. I have also worked in the Writing Center of another undergraduate university during my studies there. Currently, I am due to begin studies for my Master's degree in the Spring of 2014.
I have participated in a summer study abroad program in Ireland for five weeks as well as always having been highly involved in extracurricular activities. During my senior year of high school I took full courses of college credit in the ACCEL program, earning 25 college credit hours before I had officially graduated from high school. I received the honor of achieving the highest female SAT scores for my school that year, as well as being ranked 8th, according to GPA, in my graduating class. Though Art History is my primary field of study (particularly pre-20th century), I am well versed in areas of proofreading and how to gradually improve writing skills on a permanent level.
I have a passion for learning and the formal education system and would like to eventually become a university professor if given to opportunity. Therefore, choosing me as your or your child's learning partner will be allowing me to become more equipped to tutor and teach (hopefully) many more students to come. However, the main reason I feel that I would be a wonderful asset to your learning and study needs is the fact that I am extremely down to Earth and am almost constantly smiling or enthusiastic about the curious world around us. I like to consider myself a very eclectic individual who would be able to change or utilize specific teaching methods to reach students of every caliber, and, most of all, I believe that I would make the sessions fun, interesting, and exciting.
