Although I am new to this site I am not new to tutoring people. I have 3 younger brothers that I have helped through school. I was an A and B student throughout high school as well as college. My areas of expertise include Theatre, and Sports (soccer, football, basketball, baseball). I have spoken Spanish for more than 8 years and am currently taking Japanese.

My goal is always to help a student reach their goals and beyond. I understand the feeling when something does not come easy and have to work to get to where you want. In college I studied many different ways of learning so I do not have just one single approach to tutoring. All students learn differently. My goal is to help a student figure out how they learn so soon my services will not be needed.

Biology

I always did love science. I loved Bio in college, destroyed it too.

Spanish

I have spoken Spanish for about 10 years now. It helps to have someone to practice with. That is what I need these days as well. So this could be mutually beneficial.

Psychology

Pysch was my favorite subject in college. It was the area of science that interested me the most. I took general Pschology as well Behavioral and Aging and Adulthood. I have all of my notes so I can help out with some upper level concepts as well.

Theatre

My major of study in college. Script work, audition work. Shakespeare monologues movement for the actor. Articulation. I can teach dialects as well as some Japanese traditional styles.I can build a students confidence on stage, help with memorizing lines, different techniques for showing emotions on stage for different types of acting.

Soccer

I have played soccer all my life into high school and collegiate club level. I played sweeper for club teams and defensive wing in high school. PLayer of the match multiple times. My senior year I was scouted for a college team in Alabama. I decided to attend school elsewhere and continued to played at the collegiate club level for 4 more years. Football

I am currently coaching my younger brother for his team. I understand the basics and what it take to succeed in the sport. Weight training, plyometrics, speed drills. Also including catching drills,running patterns for defense and offense. I can teach a student how to reach their top speed quckly and change direction just as fast.
