Lots of kids HATE Biology, and frankly, I don't blame them. It's the way it is taught, it's deadly. It's all memorization of some REALLY weird names of things they don't see the point of EVER knowing and just which adult thought all this up anyway?

Even better, schedule these classes around lunchtime. Instant time to go to sleep during class, it is guaranteed!
Hey, I know. I might be as old as these kids' grandmother, but I remember. But you're the parent looking for a solution to actually GETTING this child to graduate and I get that part too. It can be done. I've done it at the college level.
I'll need to talk to your child, I might need to talk to the instructor at their school (just to see what the course syllabus is and where they need for them to go and where they are and I will need your permission for that), and talk to you briefly. I will need to see as much as you can provide of the coursework already done this year so we can go over it. (If it was on the tests, it is most likely going to be on the standardized tests.) A full printed copy of the syllabus handed out on the first day of class is required.
