I am a Georgia teacher certified in Spanish with an ESOL endorsement with seven years of experience. I received my Master's in Education from the University of Georgia.

I offer individualized tutoring based on your child's unique learning style. In addition to direct instruction, I like to incorporate games, song, and play to make learning fun.

Reading

My qualifications for reading include having taken literacy courses as part of my graduate studies in addition to being P-5 certified in early childhood.

Spanish

I am certified in Spanish P-12 in the state of Georgia. I have taught high school Spanish for 5 years and elementary Spanish for 2 years.

Writing

I am a language major in Spanish. However, in order to have succeeded in this area, I had to master the way language works. I am confident that I can assist in writing, development, and editing.

English

I have a B.A. in Spanish and a M.Ed. in Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language. I feel that I am well qualified to tutor English since I could not move into these other areas without a thorough understanding of how language works.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have a Georgia teacher's certificate that certifies me for P-5 in addition to an E.S.O.L endorsement. I have one year experience tutoring children with Sylvan Learning Center, and I have worked with elementary children for two semesters tutoring them in English and Social Studies during graduate school.

Bible Studies

I have a minor in Bible from Lee University as part of my B.A. degree. Some of my course work has included survey of the Old Testament, survey of the New Testament, Christian Thought, and Christian Ethics. I have also taken course work in Israel for the History/Archeology/Geography of the Bible. I have also taught in a Christian school for two years integrated Christian principles with my teaching.
