Hello, my name is Kanon. I am offering tutoring classes to English speaking people wanting to learn Portuguese or Brazilians wanting to learn English. I am an American that lived in Brazil for the past 8 months.
While in Brazil, I was able to develop my language skills through attending classes, teaching English to Brazilians and speaking at different functions. I understand the importance of communicating a language effectively. I would use several methods of teaching that would enable the student to really speak the language, instead of just knowing a few words. I would also focus on reading and writing skills, so that the student would become proficient in all areas of the language.
After graduating high school in 2010, I was able to learn Portuguese through study and spending time in Rio Branco, Acre Brazil. I completed a 100-Hour TEFL Online Diploma from BridgeTEFL that certifies me to teach English as a second language. Thanks for your time and I look forward to teaching students a foreign language!
