I have a love for teaching and learning. I taught school for 25 years. I began my career working at the University of Chicago Lab. Schools. Over the years I have taught from pre-k through high school and adult education.

I recently retired. After retiring I missed working with students. Now I have decided to tutor and again do the work that I love so much. I look forward to meeting and working with both parents, children, and students of all ages.

My belief is that learning is a life long journey. Everyone should develop a love for learning. I am here to offer my services, as a guide, along the road to developing your love for learning.

I worked as a Reading Specialist for over 11 years. I have taught E.I.P. Reading for over 5 years in my school district. I have a Master's Degree in K-8 Education with a B.A. major in Reading and Language.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
