This set of differential equation types comprise most differential equations that will be encountered in a high school or an undergraduate college curriculum.
Knowing how to identify these types of differential equations and utilize their associated mathematical solution methods is the key to find their general solution. If boundary conditions are known, a particular solution may also be found for the differential equation as well.
