My name is Anita P. I have always had a passion for math and science. I truly feel in love with Biology in the 7th grade. My teacher, Ms. Bacon at Duluth Middle School, made science fun and exciting. We did hands on projects and expanded our minds in ways I did not think possible. I want to show you that learning can be fun and enjoyable no matter your education level!
I attended Duluth High School. During that time I completed 11 AP classes along with my other honor classes, foreign language and orchestra while earning a 3.96/4.0 GPA. Did I mention I was a student athlete? I swam competitively throughout my high school years. I was captain of my swim team and I have been teaching swim lessons for intermittently for the past ten years. Just like coaching sports, tutoring takes patience and understanding.
I graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University in May of 2012 with a BS in Bioengineering (Concentration Materials). I understand the hard work and dedication it takes to be successful in your studies. I also know that learning is an ongoing process. Not all people learn the same and it is more than okay to say when you need help.
I tutored my peers in a university sponsored study hall from Fall 2010 to Spring 2012. These subjects varied from calculus, physics, chemistry, biology and general engineering courses. I am confident I can help you sharpen your study skills so you can truly understand the material.
I'm ready to get started when you are!
