I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from Morehouse College. I am currently in graduate school studying in the area of Biomedical Sciences. My main areas of study have been in the field of Biology where I worked on several projects with the most notable being: neurophysiology and diabetic neuropathy, diabetic rats and obesity as well as cancer therapy.
I have over 4 years tutoring college students in biological science on an individual and group level. Although most of my tutoring experience is mainly in the field of cell biology, I have a strong foundation in various aspects of science. In college, I excelled in the physical sciences while being exposed to mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and thermal physics. I am also able to help students with elementary and organic chemistry. My teaching style focuses on developing a true understanding of the subject matter. I encourage students to develop their critical thinking skills and to become confident in their abilities.
